Set near Raleigh's Pullen Park, this c.1917 house became Charles' home in 1998. With the help of several good friends, renovations opened the plan as well as views to a large oak and the passing trains south of the house. A copper roof and a thick coating of industrial black paint shelter the several types of wood and glass that help create a warm, cabin-like interior for this home and studio.
